Do you know FURORE and its Fjord?

First, a fjord is a deep and long, narrow body of water that flows far inland. In 1997, the small town of Furore was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most beautiful and quaint places in Italy. The name Furore comes from Latin meaning Terra Furoris (Land of Fury) as the waves crashing off the cliffs created a deafening sound. There is a tall picturesque bridge (the one painted on our jug) that looks down on the Fiordo and the small rocky Fiordo di Furore beach at the end of some steep steps. This is one of the most fun places to go swimming on the Amalfi Coast as the water is incredibly blue and there are a lot of great spots to jump into the deep water. Fiordo di Furore Beach is small so if you want to visit, we would recommend going early. Enjoy!
