See Naples and then die

The phrase “Vedi Napoli e poi muori” means after experiencing Naples' beauty and splendor, there is nothing more to desire in life. It was a common expression, echoed most famously on his grand tour by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, to identify Naples as the most naturally and artistically beautiful city in the world.
As Southern Italy's largest city, Naples isn't quite as postcard-perfect as its more photogenic neighbors—it's got more of a bustling, lived-in sensibility. But there's no shortage of beauty. It's the kind of place where ancient sculptures, lush courtyards, and unexpected ocean views pop up alongside parking lots and apartment buildings. And that's exactly why visitors love it (that and the wood-fired pizza—it's pretty much the best in the world). Naples’ historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site, so definitely start your visit there. Then, take in the Chiesa di San Gregorio Armeno, a 16th-century Baroque masterpiece, and the Duomo, a Roman Catholic cathedral. Check out artifacts from Pompeii at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli or revel in Rococo art at Museo Cappella Sansevero. End the day as locals do, taking a relaxed stroll as the sun sets over the Bay of Naples.

Beautiful!

Received mine and immediately ordered another as a gift. The beautiful hand painted bottle and flavorful oil is such a lovely reminder of this summer’s trip to Italy.

Simply divine

It tastes delicious . I never knew tomatoes, cheese and cucumbers with a picture of salt could taste so good . My rosemary focaccia bread taste is delicious. And I love the design of of my oil container. It brings back my memories of my visit on the Amalfi coast. Which I look forward to returning in 2026.
